Description

Citrus oil is cold-pressed by definition — it lives in the peel, and the only way to extract it without wrecking it is mechanical pressure, no heat. That makes lemon a natural fit for this bar, which is made the same way: nothing cooked, nothing distilled.

The result is a wash that is genuinely bracing. Lemon oil brings naturally occurring vitamin C and citric acid, and on combination or oily skin the bar leaves a clean, matte finish without the stripped feeling harsher soaps produce. The scent is bright and short-lived — exactly what you want first thing in the morning.

How to use

Best in a morning shower. Lather onto wet skin, rinse. Once daily.

Important: Citrus oils can increase skin's sensitivity to sunlight. Use a daytime SPF after use.

Lemon oil, olive oil, coconut oil, vegetable glycerin, sodium hydroxide, water.

How it's made

Cold-processed by hand in Turkey and cured on wooden racks for several weeks. Each bar is cut by hand from a poured block, so slight differences in size, shade and marbling are normal.

Making it last

Keep the bar on a draining dish and never leave it sitting in water. A cold-process bar that dries out fully between uses lasts two to three times longer.
