Description

Mediterranean lavender is soothing for skin and for the head that goes with it. This bar carries genuine lavender essential oil — linalool and linalyl acetate, the compounds behind that unmistakable calm — rather than a synthetic dupe, and it shows in the smell: soft, herbal, slightly sweet, nothing like the sharp laundry-aisle version.

The scent comes entirely from genuine lavender essential oil — no synthetic fragrance is added.

Ingredients

Lavender (Lavandula) essential oil, olive oil, coconut oil, vegetable glycerin, sodium hydroxide, water.

How it's made

Cold-processed by hand in Turkey and cured on wooden racks for several weeks. No heat is applied, which keeps the lavender oil's calming compounds intact. Each bar is cut by hand from a poured block, so slight differences in size, shade and marbling are normal.

Making it last

Keep the bar on a draining dish and never leave it sitting in water. A cold-process bar that dries out fully between uses lasts two to three times longer.
